"On Nurturing and Maturity: The Inner Demeter-Persephone Dialogue"

Self-love is the key to health, happiness and giving our gifts in the world. We can avoid it as we juggle internal voices in conflict about the right ways and reasons to care for ourselves.
Understanding one's inner Demeter-Persephone (mother-child) dialogue, a rich and fascinating but often misguided and cluttered argument about the realities of maturity and love, brings clarity and supports honesty about appropriate self-care.
By deepening our understanding of what maturity and love actually are, we enable ourselves to see with new eyes in what ways we truly and deeply desire to nurture others (Demeter) and in what ways we truly and deeply feel we need to be initiated by others into ways to nurture ourselves better (Persephone).
To increase your understanding, we'll explore the mythology of these two figures and key experiences in your life where you played out the parts of each. This sets the stage for uncovering what these two bodies in your astrological chart have to say about how you can deepen your practice of self-care and -love. We'll spend time unraveling the dialogue these two archetypes are having in your psyche and life, to support you on your journey into greater levels of self-love.

What do astrologers mean when they talk about planets? What about signs? And what about planets IN signs? I'll give you the inside track on these basics from the perspective of evolutionary astrology, rooted in free will, choice and responsibility.

Forget what you've heard about the devil and come hear Lucifer's real story, one of devoted service to the world followed by doubt, dissent and rebellion in the spirit of service. Many of us live Lucifer stories,
yet can't see through our religious conditioning that doubt, dissent and rebellion automatically are evil. Astrologically, this asteroid's placement in birth charts shows us where Lucifer's story plays out: in what arena of life his voice of doubt manifests (where we might keep ourselves from serving), yet also how we can become bearers of light by giving our most heartfelt service to the world.
